Thanks Steph. Hope everyone had a joyous New Year. My biggest new years resolution is to stay away from commenting on eatfeats.com. Sick of
talking about it. I think ive posted more than enough reasons on this site for everyone to steer clear of it. If it hasn't sunk in yet it never will. Looking
forward to PB&Banana Jan 8th in Biloxi. I realize ive been focusing more on my stage performance than the actual contest itself because lets face it ,
if i had any chance of winning or finishing in the money i would focus on the contest itself. I like B.O.B to repeat but Sonya and Pat are going to
make it difficult for him that day. Adrian & Juliet will be fighting till the end for a piece of the pie Lots of talent at the table . It really disappoints me
that like last year the sandwiches will not be toasted. If they are paying tribute to the king of rock and roll the sandwiches should be toasted because
thats how Elvis at them. Prior to last years contest a very reliable source informed me that one of the eaters in the contest was a huge influence in
convincing the sponsor to go with the untoasted bread . Hopefully i can put up better numbers than last year and prove to the world that the King
should never ever be a table ender.

I have decided to remove any negative commentary from my blog as well as the news page regarding OJ Rifkin and eatfeats.com.
Basically just tired of the negative nonsense which serves no purpose whatsoever. I also realize that fighting fire with fire has drifted me
further apart from future fans that might think about visiting this site. Im working on my 8th year as blogger reporter and i dont like ending
it on a sour note. Just a reminder. I want all my fans to know that change of heart does not mean i intend on becoming mr nice guy or
stray from the way i normally report the news. . Im just layin off eatfeats bashing. If i sense a troublemaker at a contest (which i have) or
something that doesnt sit well with me(which happens almost all the time) , it will be reported on this website regardless of who i
embarrass. I hope i make that clear with everyone.

Larell Marie Mele will be eating PB& Banana sandwiches in MS due to a last minute scratch. Have no idea who pulled out to
free up the open slot. Unless Juliet Lee backed out which i doubt , expect to see all three female members of the IFOCE

Well now that PB& Banana is over with i guess most of you want the dirt . More dissapointment than dirt but some good came out of the trip . People out in MS
are warm and friendly. I dont get those vibes in the big apple. Never did never will . The people that run the show at Biloxi are really very nice. When your hotel is
paid for you know youre dealing with good people. Aaron Osthoff is the man. He was nice enough to record my one song encore PERFORMANCE after Jim
Reeves decided to shut the camera down after 3 songs because his hands were getting tired. I got the idea for that last song after watching Andrew Dice Clay
Madison Square Garden show in 1989. where he closed the show with his Elvis routine. There was no way around those sandwiches . They tasted like shit
whether you ate them slow or fast. Choice of beverage didnt help either. Will i ever don the Elvis gear again? I think its over and out as far as im concerned.
Without a real band or for that matter a REAL MICROPHONE! whats the point? I might just keep it local from now on doing karaokee stints in my neighborhood
bars. I have to admit the halloween jumpsuit attracts more attention than just plain ole beautifulbrian. Check out the PICS of these smokin hot chicks. Some of
you married men out there could never get chicks like this . I know what youre thinking you see these pics and you wake up in the morning looking at the
monster with no makeup on sharing your queen sized bed. Yuuuuck

Word out of the MLE headquarters is talk about a possible Feb 1 Wing eating contest in Texas followed by a cupcake contest in Iowa sometime in April.
The wing contest is not confirmed but the cupcake seems like more of a likelihood than the the other. I cant tell you how upset and dissapointed i am that
there was no media coverage for the PB& banana contest in Biloxi. Aside from some dude on youtube with a user name paradiseonpeabody, nobody
bothered videotaping the contest. Check that , yours truly was there with his trusty camcorder but the youtube guy version is much better quality. Just
think if i didnt bring my camcorder the Elvis performance would only be a memory never documented on video.

After 7 long years Gentleman Joe Menchetti will get another crack at El Wingador on Feb 1 in Phila. If some of you remember the last
time Menchetti competed in Wingbowl 2003 he finished third behind Don Lerman and El Wingador. Hes without question a better
eater than he was seven years ago but hes not beating Squibb or Wingador in this one. In order to get in this time he ate 35 wings in
a 10 minute wingoff which was far easier than the 10 big macs he consumed in 20 min to qualify in 2004 only to be told his services
were no longer required

appearance in Bilxoi MS. Thanks for the kind words Sonya. One has to wonder if Hater X didn't play a hand in
sabotaging the dysfunctional $5.99 mic provided for me when i performed Elvis on stage last week. For once i
would love to have something nice to say about the performance or the contest but something negative always
occurs which explains the negativity.Not one and i repeat not one show of appreciation. No actually i take that back.
Nasty Nate who also secretly slammed last years performance(but at least showed enough class not to say it in
front of the sponsors) had this to say." Great great improvement over last year. Glad you went with the non
commercialize stuff" Can you imagine if the real Elvis Presley was set up with a less than admirable or fully
functional mic during his stage performance? Better yet can you imagine if a Vegas Elvis impersonator had to deal

US Male will attempt the KIBBITZ room sandwich challenge in NJ at 2:30 this afternoon as part of his training
preparation for Wingbowl 19 . The challenge is very similar to Carnegie Deli but this challenge has a time limit of 50
min., Here is an update on US Male Kibbitz challenge. Not only did he complete the challenge but in half the alloted time
28 min 37 seconds . The sandwich consisted of Roast beef , pastrami, turkey , corned beef, side order of cole slaw
potato salad & six pickles. A little over 7lbs of cold cuts. $50 meal free, first name on the wall of fame and a teashirt

Isle of Capri sponsor sent me a direct message via twitter questioning my twitter comment about Eater X getting preferential treatment on the circuit. I
gave her the full shebang in a rather lengthy email. She replied back with one similar in length. Bottom line failure to communcate because i dont buy
the defense line one bit. Its obvious that someone has a vested interest in protecting Tim Janus and could give a rats ass about my accusations
regarding his slam job of me on stage on two occasions. Any future faith and trust i have with this sponsor was destroyed after a complaint was sent to
MLE. When you go there its like you mean nothing to me anymore. I get a call from Mike Antolini obviously upset but trying to keep his cool.
Regardless of the fact that i was contacted by the sponsor initially, they dont take kindly to any one on one direct contact between an eater and the
sponsor. You can talk to these guys till they are blue in the face but in a situation like this there is only one gulity party and thats YOU (meaning me) .
They question the fact that if i had a problem with Janus why drag the sponsor in it instead of taking it up with them. Why? Complaining about the golden
boy to MLE is a wasted grievance with a zero response . In addition they had a hard time understanding why im making an issue about Janus when this
so called incident happend a year ago. Very good explanation. It was only brought to my attention several weeks prior to the recent PB & banana eating
contest. I wasnt about to go toe to toe with Mike because it was going in the direction of "Brian according to the twitter you said this and you said that"

Dale Boone has been know to get under ones skin and that was self evident in a Jakes burger eating contest several months back. One of the
competitors Dave Brunelli whom you probably remember competing in the Nathans qualifier in AC this past summer, and in Wingbowl 18 also
competed in the Jakes contest. Little did Boone realize that this dude boxes professionally . Check out the PHOTOS . Instead of getting his hands
dirty and risking jail time he let his GF do the clocking on Boone . Dave told me "I didnt feel like taking a trip to jail She got away with $100 fine worth
every penny! Now thats a dedicated GF ! Former Comp eater and true friend Ray the Bison Meduna was featured in a documentary on the sport of
competitive eating . When i get my copy i will post the entire show on this website. The thing that makes this documentary unique from others is that
Ray gives Kudos to people in the sport that never get their just due. Yours truly as one prime example. Aside from the "Rivalries" DVD which came
out in 2007 on Netflix I dont remember my name mentioned in any other eating documentary. Matter fact with the exception of less than a handful of
IFOCE members i dont remember one ever taking the time out to give me some long overdue props, but then again even if they did they dont have
the final say in the editing room now do they?. Get my drift?

Did you see the blond women pictured with Sonya on the front news page of this site? She was Sonya lobster cracker in IFOCE
Lobster contest in 2005 which took place in Maine. That same woman who resides in VA was interested in starting her own Sonya
Thomas fan club . Im not saying this woman is indeed the infamous OJ Rifkin but a reliable source who competed in that event thinks

Notorious B.O,B has become another statistic in the jobless market and because of that scenario
expect the Humble one to be anything but humble as he intends to sign up for any and every eating

Put on standby for King Cake in AC . Expect that to be one of many considering my little run in with the Isle of Capri . Then again i did register
2hrs late and was put on standby last year. I just registered for corned beef in Fla but thats more than a few hours late isnt it? Havent decided
whether or not to be part of Brad Sciullo entourage in Wingbowl realizing that i might freeze my ass off in that scad little Elvis jumpsuit. After
what Sonya and others went through its obvious they show little regard for ones life let alone care whether or not you freeze to death. Some
of you might remember that Jammin Joe Larue completed the ZUZIES BURGER CHALLENGE completing 6 6oz burgers with exotic toppings,
onion rings and a beer in 12 min. The video link is some lame Daily News reporters attempt at the challenge. Just to inform you that Zuzies is
moving from Astoria Queens to Manhattan which is more convenient for New Yorkers and out of towner's. The burgers look awesome. I might
give it a shot real soon

Iowa he RESPONDED back in regard to the quality of food served at the table. For those that have
been placed on waiting list for king cake in NJ , be aware that aside from the top ranked eaters,
handpicked hometown favorites like Steakbellie and Micha Collins usually get picked for this event. US
Male would have certainly got in if didnt defy the orders of the almighty Sheas and pass up the
opportunity to compete in Wingbowl

Well it appears that Joey Chestnut must have caught wind to the Jan 28 update and removed his comment on
facebook about Isle of Capri serving shitty food. If Joey doesn't grab first prize he is going to bitch about how bad
the food tastes regardless of who the sponsor is. I cant really vouch for his comment because ive only competed in
two events sponsored by the Isle . One was PB& banana and the other spare ribs. The ribs in my estimation were
pretty decent it was the PB & banana i had a problem with. My beef with the casino has nothing to do with the food
served its about the snotty response i received when i complained about nobody(media included) acknowledging
the fact that i was performing. The girls in charge of marketing happen to be very nice people but nice and
disappointing are two separate entities
