Don Moses Lerman is technically a member of another eating club and will compete in the Zahns latka contest on Dec 13th. Don's decision to come out of retirement and the association he has
chosen, reminds me of this guy at work some years ago. He was a dead ringer for Rich Shea. His name is Andrew Blum happens to be a Jew and enjoyed the finer things in life attending rock
concerts and feasting on non kosher food. All of a sudden all that changed. He started wearing a cap(not a yarmulke) grew a hassidic type beard and acted different. It was obvious that he was
drawn in by some rabbinical cult that would change his life for the best. I am not implying for one second that Don will meet the same fate as Andrew but Andrew was forced to adhere to the hassidic

upcoming Latka contest Dec 13th in Lake Grove NY. Don was always a great self promoter even though his predictions of victory have been way off the mark in recent years. He still manages to
captivate an audience or at least convince fans of the sport that he has a punchers chance. I know for a fact that Ed Jarvis is upset with his decision to break bread with those people but Moses is
competing regardless of what his guru amigo thinks. . I can think of better tables where he can gorge himself but the opportunities are not abundant and he needs to eat somewhere doesn't he? Well
anyhow the Muhammad Ali Archie Moore/Marciano self promotion gimmick seems to have worked and is creating more than just a passing interest in the world of competitive eating. I found some

access my Xmas album on this site i put together a video of one of the tracks off the CD , Marshmallow world with the always user friendly youtube Don Lerman REPORTS on his website that he is
officially retiring from CE. I have heard that before but i guess we have no choice but to take his word for it. From the video he does not look in the best of health especially with the bags under his
eyes. It takes a bigger man to go out a winner and lets hope he sticks by it. If by some miracle i won an IFOCE title i could just imagine certain individuals bitching or (crawfish at showboat) gping
ballistic on the judges only because by some far stretch of the imagination BB beat the elite. Well i doubt that will ever happen but i just wanted the world to know i would be more than likely dealing

wad of cash in front of you (few million) it's hard to say no . Although the purses in CE are much smaller to say the least, i am sure if someone came up with 15 or 20 grand to get Lerman and
Goldstein back in the ring for bologna, it would be a done deal. The other day i get this email from Mike Antolini asking for my shipping address. Didn't bother asking the reason but maybe i should
have . The next day i receive this big long box parked at my door from FEDEX compliments of Mike Mantolini & the IFOCE. It looked more like one of those don't open before Christmas presents
expecting Laurel & Hardy to pop out on the 25th. At first i thought they sent me linoleum. Turned out to be the backdrop used for the US open of competitive eating in Vegas 4yrs ago. . Appreciate
the gesture guys but what the hell am i supposed to do with this? Certainly enough to redecorate my kitchen floor. . There is roughly 10 sq feet of the stuff. Im wondering if that's some sort of hint

hope of presenting a trophy to the competitive eater with the most appearances on the show . The LAST SHOW we did with Larry was at Peters Clams in Long Beach NY this past summer with
Badlands and Arturo Rios . In my opinion the greatest five minutes in Hoff history was the infamous PICKLE FIGHT between myself and Krazy Kevin one day after the Carnegie Deli Pickle contest in
May 2002. It was the first time WPIX ever extended the morning show an additional 30 min so they could accommodate us. The ratings would have gone through the roof if not for the breaking news

competing regardless of what his guru amigo thinks. . I can think of better tables where he can gorge himself but the opportunities are not abundant and he needs to eat somewhere doesn't he? Well
anyhow the Muhammad Ali Archie Moore/Marciano self promotion gimmick seems to have worked and is creating more than just a passing interest in the world of competitive eating. I found some

access my Xmas album on this site i put together a video of one of the tracks off the CD , Marshmallow world with the always user friendly youtube Don Lerman REPORTS on his website that he is
officially retiring from CE. I have heard that before but i guess we have no choice but to take his word for it. From the video he does not look in the best of health especially with the bags under his
eyes. It takes a bigger man to go out a winner and lets hope he sticks by it. If by some miracle i won an IFOCE title i could just imagine certain individuals bitching or (crawfish at showboat) gping

with something like that .CE world still buzzing over Don Lerman's victory in Lake Grove. Everyone seems to be trying to push Lerman back in the ring. Even though the temptation of food and boxing
are like apples and oranges, it is a little bit easier for Lerman to resist the temptation of food than it is was for Ali or Holeyfield to resist beating the shit out of an opponent. When a promoter dangles a
wad of cash in front of you (few million) it's hard to say no . Although the purses in CE are much smaller to say the least, i am sure if someone came up with 15 or 20 grand to get Lerman and
Goldstein back in the ring for bologna, it would be a done deal. The other day i get this email from Mike Antolini asking for my shipping address. Didn't bother asking the reason but maybe i should
have . The next day i receive this big long box parked at my door from FEDEX compliments of Mike Mantolini & the IFOCE. It looked more like one of those don't open before Christmas presents

the gesture guys but what the hell am i supposed to do with this? Certainly enough to redecorate my kitchen floor. . There is roughly 10 sq feet of the stuff. Im wondering if that's some sort of hint

sounding very much like the lead singer of the Defranco family. Any of you old enough to remember that group? If you remember Evan starred in the cult favorite Wonderchozen which aired on MTV2

Legs gave me a nice plug on FOX news back in early Nov of this year. I was not aware of that clip until i saw it today on MLE facebook. Regardless of whether or not it was mentioned for the sake of

rough mix rehearsal" . . Im like whaaaaat? . You cant get any better than that. My intention was to cut the song solo but it needed a boost. . My voice is decent but its like an old warhorse thats been
put out to pasture over the years. I was surprised she took the time to help me out. Normally she never has the time for stuff like this. Maybe the holiday spirit got to her. The other surprise was that
she never heard the damn song till the other day. After listening to roughly 20 versions including duets with Celine and Shirley Oliveras, she sent me her vocals the next day. When you listen to the
video, it sounds as though she's been singing it all her life . . My sister was 6yrs old when Elvis sung it on NBC in 68. It turned out to be the only time he ever performed the song on National tv or in
concert. From what i gather , his manager Col Parker wanted to drop the song from the 1968 show because it was too political for the times while making references to the assassinations of RFK

morning NY anchor guy whom on occasion would risk his neck performing outrageous stunts on the air. Competitive eating was a fixture on his morning show while myself and Crazy Legs
appeared numerous times . I always considered myself the silent movie character on his show while Crazy Legs was hooked up with a mic on practically all his appearances. I was more or less the
poster boy for the hearing impaired . Regardless i still had fun appearing on his show. Crazy Legs Badlands and i were neck and neck in the "hoffoff" , a nickname created by Crazy Legs in the
hope of presenting a trophy to the competitive eater with the most appearances on the show . The LAST SHOW we did with Larry was at Peters Clams in Long Beach NY this past summer with
Badlands and Arturo Rios . In my opinion the greatest five minutes in Hoff history was the infamous PICKLE FIGHT between myself and Krazy Kevin one day after the Carnegie Deli Pickle contest in
May 2002. It was the first time WPIX ever extended the morning show an additional 30 min so they could accommodate us. The ratings would have gone through the roof if not for the breaking news
story regarding the Chandra Levy murder . Speaking of Jill here is a HOTSHOT of the sexy weather girl. Wait till you read the comments about her as you scroll down. "Typical Long Island bitch with

she emailed me asking that i remove her image from the front page. When i checked my stats her IP showed up four times in the past two hours which is more than her total visits to my site in the
past 5yrs.I assume it wasnt to read my informative editorial but more like checking to see if i removed her picture. She's like that. This kind of schtick has been going on since childhood. .

instrumentals to make it work. That and strong vocal chords will make the medicine go down better than a spoon full of sugar. Even Elvis botched it up in a live performance because some of his live
