Its amazing how the public perceives you when you dress in certain  attire. I have a NYC police officer hat which collects dust in the corner of my living room but on occasion i will wear

gamble i could come back  with "How do i know thats a real badge" There are some characters out there that come up with these real genuine shields that look very authentic but
figure the average Joe will never know the difference.  I do, so don't ever try that with me. If i wanted to get technical i could question the badge but then again i have no biz
questioning anyone  with no badge to my name . Just a  NYC police cap i purchased from a vendor on Mott St on the lower east side. Traffic agents are normally not phased one bit by
the cap. . For instance 5yrs ago I happened to be wearing the cap after doing some grocery shopping. My vehicle was parked sort of crooked but i was only parking for a few seconds
in that spot. Some nasty bitch (traffic agent) told me "You gonna leave your car parked like that?. Go park it the right way". I told her gimme a break i will  be right out.  We ended up
having some words and it was quite obvious she showed zero respect for the cap. Instead of escalating the confrontation i got back  in the car and proceeded to park the car
correctly.. All of a sudden one of her punk ass cronies comes by  (looked like a kid) begins jotting down my registration & Vin number from the windshield. Mind you this was before
they had the hand held  PC gadgets.   I said "what are you doing.?  He goes into this song and dance as to  why did i have an attitude with his fellow agent.  I told him thats not your
the cap go to my head.  Apparently he was another one that didn't buy the fact that i might have been a NYC police officer. As cooler heads prevailed i assumed i was able to talk him
out of writing the ticket but a few days later i checked with NYC parking violations  and the scumbag wrote the ticket anyhow. I submitted a personal complaint against this douche bag
and eventually got the ticket dismissed. One would get the impression that he either didn't like NYC police officers (especially Caucasian ones)  or didn't like the fact that someone
appeared to be impersonating one with the cap.  Lesson to be learned. If you  want to show your appreciation   representing the NYCPD  in a "fashionable" way , do it with CAUTION. It
can turn out to be risky business if you are portraying someone you aint.

free from any physical disabilities my parents couldnt understand why i was getting my ass kicked  three of four times a week in elementary school. Duh maybe its because i weighed
judge. Actually this pic was taken a few years later. My parents felt thought at the time if they could find a place where im outta site outta mind and my meals are taken care of thats all all
about? The  Woodstock festival. Unreal huh?    Back to LT. It appears that even if he is  convicted of rape  the max time he would have to serve  in prison is 4yrs . He would prob serve 1
of the 4 which is paltry compared to former Yankee outfielder Mel Hall who is serving 45 yrs in a Texas prison for a similar conviction. In Halls case he was convicted of inappropriate
sexual behavior with a 12yr old while he was her basketball coach. She decided to press the charges 10yrs later. Talk about statute of limitations.? Hall  wont be eligible for parole until
2031 when he turns 70yrs old .  They dont play in Texas.  After being led into the courthouse to face charges, LT was swarmed by reporters  with this to say "Hey guys i'm not that
important"

To appease Knick Fans in case they dont sign Lebron, the Knicks made a significant addition  to their roster with the signing of
Phoenix forward Amare Stoudemire. This guy can score and he can rebound. He averaged over 20 ppg during the last 5yrs .  If the
Knicks were to add Miami guard Wade along with Lebron i would say the Knicks would finally secure a championship within 2yrs. I am
optimistic that the Knicks have a a one out of three chance of signing Lebron but remember this is the biggest free agent to hit the
market in years and guys like Lebron James come around only once in life. Compare this to getting married to the woman of your
dreams only to suffer a huge letdown and settle for second or third best. That is why most marriages today dont last long. When i
coined Steven Stills phrase  "If you cant be with the one you love  love the one your with" , it did not apply to the Lebron James
situation. If you cant have the second best thing to Michael Jordan then life sucks and NY fans will be in for a big letdown. Look at
MLE , they couldn't sign Furious Pete so they settled for Ben Monsoon.. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE

opportunity to eavesdrop on my conversations. When i leave the job the page will open to anyone and everyone. Many people have asked , do  had
passed away in the middle part of June 1977 which made Elvis death seem unimportant to many family members at the time. Sort of disrespectful to the
King when defining his death as   unimportant. Maybe overshadowed is a better word.  In memory of the king i am devoting the guest on Larry King the
and sticky. Floridians usually travel north in hope of cooler air . Weintraub at the time was in his mid 30's just getting his feet wet in the music industry.
Elvis told him. "Listen we got a deal and ill give you full control of the operation but i want two things 1. My fans get seated in the first 20 rows. That
means no politicians , no celebrities. 2. Promise me that every single seat in the stadium is filled. I dont want any empty seats" Weintraub gave him his
word its a done deal. On July 2nd  one of Weintraub's associates comes back with some bad news  5000 empty seats for the matinée show. Weintraub
goes berserk and literally grabs the guy by the throat. "You told me every seat will be sold out . I trusted you to take care of this matter"  Weintraub
reports back to Col Parker (Elvis manager)  "Listen Col we have a problem" After explaining the situation to the Col, Weintraub  was told point blank. "We
dont have a problem its YOU that has the problem now take care of it"  Weintraub heads down to the Miami Correctional facility and asks to speak to the
prison warden. The warden tells Weintraub  its gonna cost you in dollars.  Problem solved. 5000 prison inmates fill the remaining seats in the arena.
Didn't George Shea use the same tactic with the residents of a  nursing home to fill up the eats of strength studio  in 2006? Towards the end of the
interview Weintraub went on to say that Elvis was  not only a good guy but a smart guy. He was completely aware of the level of fame brought upon him
and realized it would eventually destroy him. He was cloistered, locked up. Couldn't go to a movie until the movie theatre closed up for the night .
Couldn't go to a restaurant until the restaurant closed up for the night . He gave up his freedom for stardom. Long live the King of Rock & Roll

I will never forget this day as long as i live. In a good sense i was able to share some of the pain that John Lennon went through the day he was shot and killed in front of his home on
30 or more solo LP's added to his resume just like Paul Mccartney. Nevertheless we  are still  left with treasures such as  "Imagine"  "Sometime in NYC"  "John & Yoke 1970"
"Mindgames"  "Walls and Bridges"  "Rock and Roll" & his final album released just before his death  "Double fantasy" . After Lennon appeared duet style  on stage with Elton John  in
one had to wonder what the hell is with John Lennon? Is he dead also? . I then  learned that Yoko had given birth to a son in late 1975  and that John decided to give up the rock and
IF I DIDNT LOVE YOUroll scene and help raise his newborn child. When he was a Beatle in 1964  he spent very little time with his other newborn Julian, so this time he wasnt about to
make the same mistake and live with the tag "absentee dad" . In late 1979  i heard this new song on the radio titled was virtually clueless as to who recorded it ? It sounded alot like
Lennon and i said to myself  Lennon has   finally came Squeeze. Oh well so much for the Lennon comeback.  During the latter part of 1980 there was talk about Lennon on the
comeback trail with a new LP and a  possible tour planned for 1981. The album came out in Nov 1980 . I listened to some tracks on the radio. Lennons voice was still as sharp During
the same time period rumors persisted that the Beatles were talking about getting back together for one as the day he recorded Imagine 9yrs prior. Before i could get a chance to buy
the album i get word that Lennon was shot dead in front of his home. To this day double fantasy is the only John Lennon album i refuse to purchase. I think you can understand why i
feel that way. That night i came home from work sick as a dog. I contracted a virus that left me knocking on heavens door. Temperature had to be around 104 . My throat was yellow .
Considering the fact that i was only 20yrs old i felt i  was too young to die and  figured i still  had alot of life left in me . Doctor made the housecall  gave me some medication to ease
the torture, but it was shortlived as
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALLI will never forget this day as long as i live. In a good sense i was able to share some of the pain that John Lennon
went through the day he was shot and killed in front of his home on  with Howard Cosell of all people, made the grim announcement. John Lennon DEAD ON ARRIVAL. At first i
thought i was hearing things or that i was having a bad dream due to my illness. . When reality hit me the next  with Howard Cosell of all people, made morning i felt even more shittier
than i felt when i was sick. What bothered me more than anything was  the senseless act of violence committed by a demented screwball. If Lennon died of natural causes similar to
Elvis, it would have eased the pain somewhat.  But  this???  Totally insane? Mind boggling? First thing that enters your mind is a number of alternatives that might have prevented his
death. Why was he out late recording? Why didn't he have a bodyguard? Why wasn't anyone tipped off about Chapman considering that he was not only lurking around the Dakota
several days before he shot Lennon , but got Lennon to autograph his album yet? OMG  NYC 1980 you can virtually get away with murder back then due to such lame security. Back
in the Beatle heyday you couldn't get within a mile of John Lennon and 15yrs later he is approachable as your next door neighbor. John had big plans ringing in the 1980's  with the
advent of MTV VH1 etc etc. None of that came to be. Live Aid,  We are the World, and countless other fund raising projects would have included John Lennon if he had never crossed
paths with Mark David Chapman. Beatles reunion? Very good possibility  but the possibility of John & Paul recording together would have been a greater reality than a Beatles
reunion. At least we are left with the memories but without John Lennon presence in the music scene during the past 30yrs we are left with a void that in my estimation can never be
replaced.

MLE Cheestesteak
Contest  2011
Dorney Park PA
Sandwiches were decent but certainly not the real thing. If you never
had a Philly Cheesesteak before go to Tony Lukes or Jims in will
notice a night and day difference. Not that i intended to make them my
dinner but how can you tell you someone you cant take home
leftovers? Those were the words of one of the subway sponsors.
Sounds like my dead and buried old school relatives that used to
bitch about me sticking my hand in the potato chip or pretzel bowl
when i was a kid at family parties. " No you cant have anymore  Wait till
the other guests show before you indulge" Weather was decent hot
but very little humidity which made the sandwiches go down alot
easier. Booker , Kong  Brian D  put up championship numbers and get
shit in return. Brian Subich son Nick asked one of the subway crew if
he could move out of the way  for a sec so he could get a pic of me
and he refused. I just didn't feel the love this year as opposed to last
which is why i doubt ill return like anyone cares. Ate 7 which is one
sandwich step up from last year but it was more towards the 6 3/4
mark. At least im honest. Joey Lee Juliets husband  was handing out
waiver forms prior to the contest which led me to believe that Mr Lee
might be on the IFOCE  payroll. Forgot my mic which reflected the
quality of my stuttering interviews. Incoherent is a better word to
describe them. . Ill be more prepared in AC  next week. Still
wondering how Wild Billl all 400 lbs of him  made it up the hill of hell
heading back to the parking lot.  George Shea wanted to duet  "Let
me tell ya" from stick to blogging but i didn't bring the CD
instrumentals along . Might give it a shot in AC next week  as part of
the Sonya vs Sonya massacre.
Nathans Qualifier at Trump Plaza in AC
5.28.11
Nathans. I didn't realize who she was until she came up to me an said "You just walked
her by name. Shes a good kid  part of the old school Nathans crew with Randy & the
boys who i haven't seen in quite some time. The highlight of the afternoon was
running a segment of my favorite creation
FOOD MONEY. If you remember last year
Larell Marie took me to the cleaners and this year two little hotties took me to the
same place. Check it out its funny and entertaining .  I ran a brief
INTERVIEW  with
Sonya prior to the contest . One of the security guys was pissin the shit out of me
asking that i kneel down midway through the contest so the bigger camera could get a
better view. I reluctantly obliged but it was cramping my style if you know what i mean.
After the contest several people asked if they could grab a few hotdogs. Security was
like  No no way. I have no idea who was running the show this year but it was a
Nathans guy i had never seen before. Security guy checked with the Nathans guy in
the green hat and he said  No free hotdogs thats that. So if you check out the
VIDEO
you can watch him collect the un eaten dogs (minus the debris i think ? ) place them
on a huge plate and present them to Sonya. (top pic) . I guess its not my biz as to
whether or not they  were tossed in the garbage or saved for the needy. All i can tell
you is that in past years the  fans were more than welcome to feast on the leftovers.
Maybe it was just Trump in AC that cracked the whip. If im able to attend other
qualifiers ill keep you posted. Prior to the contest George Shea asked if i wanted to
perform his favorite song from Stick to Blogging. He had mentioned this during the
cheesesteak contest as well. I brought the CD  but the song was never performed .
Either he said the hell with it or just forgot. After the contest he said "Brian i totally
forgot" I was like no biggie heres the CD track . Take it home enjoy.  I used to have a
passion for this Nathans stuff but as i was relaxing in the sun for a brief moment i said
to myself .Why am i here and why am i doing this? Am i profiting from any of this? Of
course you know the answer. I have to keep reminding myself of the self gratification i
get for providing a fee service to the fans. Thats basically what keeps it going. . See ya
next time at a Nathans near you . Well maybe.
